Deadline Extended to November 23
CARY, NC – It’s not too late to build the Gingerbread House of your dreams! The deadline for the Gingerbread House Contest has been extended to Nov. 23. Competitors can register for three categories: Family, Teen (13-17), and Adult (18 and up). All entries will be judged and on display in Town facilities and businesses throughout Cary Downtown on December 3 as part of our annual Heart of the Holidays Celebration. The top three winners in each category will go on to display for the remainder of December at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave.
“Judges have quite a few confectionery houses to choose from and they’ll all make an interesting display for festival attendees,” said Joy Ennis, Festivals Coordinator. “But we wanted to give more bakers the chance to show off their talents for this first-ever event.”
