Regardless of the day of the week, Halloween is always on October 31 in Cary, and that’s the day most families go door-to-door in costumes for candy and fun. In addition to or instead of going door-to-door, families may want to participate in the Town of Cary’s Halloween events, scheduled for October 29 in Cary Downtown: Tricks & Treats Halloween Bash at the Herbert C. Young Community Center; Trick-or-Treat on S. Academy Street from Ashworth’s Village to the Cary Arts Center; and the Not-So-Scary Storytelling, pumpkin ceramics classes, and Fright School’s 6th annual Haunted House at the Cary Arts Center. The Town of Cary will also partner with Cary Town Center on October 31 for Safe-n-Sane Halloween from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. For more information on these activities, search “Halloween” at www.townofcary.org or call (919) 469-4061.
